The PPZS partnership system aims to:

• Contribute to the progression of knowledge on the functioning and the sustainable management of pastoral systems in dry tropical areas;
• Innovate in the assessment and management tools for pastoral systems;
• Accompany the livestock keepers development and support structures in the management of the natural resources;
• Welcome researchers and managers of rural development in the region for multidisciplinary training in the management of pastoral systems;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of collaborative research projects;
• Communicate and promote research results.
